Who wouldn’t want to shop in their PJs? This event started years ago by Karen Lamp, owner of Plaid Sheep company (formerly Country Craft Cupboard, now located east of town at Schrock’s Heritage Village). Since then, the rest of the town has joined the fun.
This year, Plaid Sheep Company kicks off the fun on Friday night from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. But to even get in the door you must be wearing your PJs. They will have amazing sales and specials throughout the store.
The rest of the stores in Berlin will be open and have their sales Saturday morning starting at 8:00am. Some will require you to be in your PJs to get the sales and some won’t. So grab some friends and head to Berlin for some great sales and lots of fun!
Shop for your Valentine during this fun-filled event where there are multiple sales throughout town during the week of Valentine’s Day.
Everyone loves a scavenger hunt, right? Well this is our version but in Berlin, it’s a hunt for barns!
Spend the day in Berlin hunting small wooden barns that are hidden in participating businesses. Once you find the barn, you will be entered into a drawing for gift cards and also the “Grand Prize”.
We usually have about 40 businesses participate and last year’s grand prize was worth over $900!
The event starts as soon as the businesses open and is finished by 3:00pm. The prize drawing is held at 4:00pm in the German Village Center. This is a great family event. The kids have tons of fun finding the barns or you can grab your friends for a fun day out.
See you there!
Our largest event of the year!
Help us celebrate and thank God for the harvest with a fun family event you don’t want to miss.
Rib vendors come from near and far to compete in the cook-off. There will be a people’s choice award voted on by you. We also bring in local “foodie” judges to decide on the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place overall winners.
The Harvest Fest is a 2-day event with festivities kicking off on Friday night with live music, an auction, state-sanctioned kiddie tractor pulls, and food.
Additional Activities Include:
Kiddie Tractor Pull
Friday Night Auction (proceeds go to local families in need)
Sales Throughout Town
Delicious Local Food
Raffle (proceeds go to local families in need)
And much more!
Festivities end with a parade at 6:00pm on Saturday.
