Everyone loves a scavenger hunt, right? Well this is our version but in Berlin, it’s a hunt for barns!
Spend the day in Berlin hunting small wooden barns that are hidden in participating businesses. Once you find the barn, you will be entered into a drawing for gift cards and also the “Grand Prize”.
We usually have about 40 businesses participate and last year’s grand prize was worth over $900!
The event starts as soon as the businesses open and is finished by 3:00pm. The prize drawing is held at 4:00pm in the German Village Center. This is a great family event. The kids have tons of fun finding the barns or you can grab your friends for a fun day out.
Here are this year's participating businesses:
Berlin Grande Hotel | Berlin Heritage Inn | Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant | Comfort Suites | Country Gatherings | The Gardens at Country Gatherings | German Village Market | Gospel Book Store | Heini's Cheese Chalet | Helping Hands Quilt Shop | Kauffman's Country Bakery | Main Street Fudge | North Market Variety | Olde Thyme Homespun | Orme Hardware | The Red Poppy | Sol's (Sol's Palace, Sol's Exchange & Sol's Kit-N-Kaboodle) | Sommer's General Store | Streb's General Store | Village Gift Barn
